calling Mouse to come play,
but Mouse is too busy dash-darting away.
所以他嘎嘎的叫老鼠跟他一起玩，
但是老鼠太忙了，没空跟他玩。
So he quacks and squawks
calling Frog to come play
but Frog is too busy hip-hopping away.
所以他嘎嘎的叫青蛙跟他一起玩，
但是青蛙太忙了，他跳着走开了。
With no one around,
Ducky's feeling quite blue.
没有人跟他玩，小鸭子感到很忧伤。
Then he discovers somebody new.
"Hello there," quacks Ducky.
"Have you come to play?
I hope you're not busy. Please don't swim away."
这时，他发现了一个新的小伙伴。
“你好，”小鸭子嘎嘎的问到。
“你是来一起玩的吗？
我希望你不是那么忙。请不要游走。”
"Let's play." squawks Ducky.
"Can you float on your back?
Can you blow bubbles?
Can you sing a loud quack?"
“让我们一起玩吧。”小鸭子说到。
“你可以像这样翻过来漂浮吗？”
“你可以吐泡泡吗？”
“你可以唱一首嘎嘎歌吗？”
"Can you spin all around?
Can you splash like this?"
“你能到处旋转吗?”
你能像这样飞溅吗?”
"Can you dunk upside down?
Can you swim like a fish?"
“你能这样一头扎下去?
你能像鱼一样游泳吗?”
Ducky's delighted that his friend stays to play.
"What a warm and wonderful, just ducky day."
小鸭子很高兴他的朋友留下来玩。
“多么温暖，多么美妙，多么简单的一天。”
They play and splish-splash
till the day is all done.
他们玩闹着，溅起水花，
直到一天结束了。
"Mama, being just Ducky was just ducky fun."
“妈妈，做一只快乐的小鸭子，
就能享受快乐的一天。”
